Interested in touching bases with other researching Mahans from the Cecil Co. area of Maryland. My grgrandfather had 2 brothers that I know of. Grandfather was Thomas Finley Mahan. brothers were William Reese and Benjamin Parker. These men went by their middle names. My mother said Parker joined a circus. I don't know where she got that idea, but I have seen information that a Parker Mahan died in Delaware at the age of 33 (1879-80). I don't know about possible children.
