Sarah Ann Maidens married George Knight (c.1862)
Hello to all,

I am looking for information regarding Sarah Ann Maidens. Her parents are listed as Thomas and Sarah (my digging suggests this may be grandparents...?)

She was born in England, suggested b.date is c.1835-1845. She married George Knight c.1862 and had three children Thomas, Charles and Sarah "Annie". They immigrated from England in 1869 via Liverpool aboard "The City of Baltimore" with a John Knight (b.1852) in their party. They spent about 10 years in the US; Arlington Mass., had three more children, Mary "Minnie", George and Albert before finishing their journey in Canada (Essex Co., Ontario). Three more children were born Rose May, Lucia B and Robert Henry.

I currently have identified Sarahs husbands name (Walter Fowler) and that she was born in 1837. In addition, it appears that Robert and Sarahs parents were William ( born abt 1811) and Sarah Maidens (born abt 1811) in Lincolnshire England. Robert and Sarah were both born in Lincolnshire England.

Source Citation: Class: HO107; Piece 646; Book: 19; Civil Parish: St Peter Thorpe East Fen Allotment; County: Lincolnshire; Enumeration District: 12; Folio: 15; Page: 3; Line: 15; GSU roll: 438769.
I am searching for information on Robert Maidens and Sarah Maidens (his sister) and thier families. Robert was born March 23 1841, Sarah's birth date is unknown. The information I have indicates that Robert immigrated to the US in the 1853 from Lincolnshire England with his sister Sarah Maidens when he was 12 years old. Sarah was thought to be 16 years old at this time, Sarah married a Fowler. The path they took is through New York to Virginia and then to Missouri. Robert married Frances Pulliam in Missouri and they had seven kids. Their names were Alex Winn , Albert B., James Samuel, William Arthur (Bill), Harreit (Hattie), Eliza Jane (Lizzie) and Sarah Belle (Bell). Alex, my grandfather was born in Feb. 13th of 1882. I know that James Samuel married Ida Lee Sims. I do not have any information on the Robert or most of the others and would appreciate any help I can get on this.
Thanks
Larry Maiden
