Early Maker history

I've been looking into the family history. Our branch is presently in New York State. I've been only able to trace back to my 4th great grandfather, David Maker thru census records. David's son was named Archelaus and was born in Yates County in 1818. Other this I've not been able to trace further back. I've found another Archelaus Maker in the late 18th century from Rhode Island but not sure if he's related in any way. Hopefully someone knows more about this line out there. Thanks.

Joseph MAKER of Harwich, MA & Brooksville, ME

I am trying to find the ancestry & children of Joseph MAKER, who married Deliverance FREEMAN 26 Oct 1753 in Harwich, MA [Vital Records]. No children were listed to them in Harwich Vital Records.
They show up in Brooksville/Sedgwick, ME by 1776. Both were of Deer Isle, ME when they sold land on Little Deer Isle in 1791. The witnesses made oath to the deed in 1799 (meaning Joseph & Deliverance had died?)
Was John MAKER, who was also in Brooksville, married Mary/Molly GRAY ca 1780, and moved to Cutler, ME by 1790 their son? John named a son Freeman MAKER.

I AM NEW TO THIS SITE AND I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS WHICH I HOPE WILL BE ACCEPTED AS SUGGESTIONS. SINCE MY TIME IS VERY LIMTED AND I ONLY HAVE OUR FIRST TWO MAKER ANCESTORS,I FOUND IT EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING TO SPEND HOURS READING ALL THE MAKER MESSAGES ABOUT MAKERS IN THE 1800'S SPREAD ACROSS THE U.S.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO REQUEST THAT MESSAGES INCLUDE STATES AND APPROXIMATE CENTURIES?
IS THERE ANY WAY THAT THERE COULD BE A SEPARATE MESSAGE BOARD FOR THE MAKERS OF 1600-1800 AND THE MAKERS OF 1800 ON?
COULD THERE, PERHAPS BE A SEPARATE MESSAGE BOARD FOR THE MAKERS OF CAPE COD, MA. AND THE MAKERS OF OTHER STATES, IE MAINE, CALIF, ETC. I LOVE THE SITE, BUT DON'T KNOW HOW I WILL HAVE TIME TO GET BACK TO IT. NANCY

Hello - my asncestor is one Borden Maker who married Lettice (Lettis) Goff in Rehoboth, MA. They had a son named Simeon who had a daughter named Susan who was my great-great grandmother. I am trying to find a link between Borden and his supposed (and I believe) INDIAN ancestors. I am of the belief he is a descendant of Quadequinai who was the brother of Chief Massasoit. If anyone might know something about this, please message me.

Thank you

PAY D.
