I believe there is a match.
My great aunt, Bridget Kearney, married James J. Malarkey. Bridget was born and died in Archbald. I was in Archbald last weekend and found their gravestone [took picture]. According to the 1910 census, my James was born about 1868; you have 1867. The reason you have not been able to find him in later census records is that the last name was listed as Mullarkey. In one case, it was not indexed because it was almost illegible. To find them I either did a soundex on Archbald or looked at each page for Archbald. However, the gravestone is Malarkey and the obit for Bridget's father gives her name as Malarkey. I plan to write to the church in Archbald and obtain as much info on my great grandfather and his family as possible from the church records. This will hopefully include info James and Bridget.
From the 1910 census, the children of James and Bridget are:
Mary [age 13], William , Margaret , Alice , Agnes , Paul , and James [11 months].
