I'm looking for any information regarding Captain James J.(Joseph) Malden. He was born around 1797 and he died in Alpena, Michigan in 1874. He may have lived in Labrador, Newfoundland before settling in Saginaw County, Michigan in 1834. He had two daughters, Catherine and Susanne. He also had a brother who settled in Saginaw County before he did. I'd appreciate any information you might have.
