This is what I have on my family of Mallory's. My grandmother
kept a little black book where she had names and dates
written down. This is what my aunt found: JOHN
CALVIN MALLORY, born 4-16-1847 in Bellefonte, Pa.;
died 7-28-1907 in Altoona, Pa. He married Mary Katherine
Nunemaker, born 9-28-1842 in Huntingdon Co., Pa.; died
8-17-1917 in Altoona, Pa. Both are burried in the Rosehill
Cemetery in Altoona, Pa. For their children I have:
John H. Mallory, born 12-7-1867 in Bellefonte, Pa.;
died 7-14-1921 in Altoona, Pa.; Edward Clinton Mallory
born 5-27-1871 in Bellefonte, Pa.; died July 17, 1952.
His wife Sarah ? was born in 1874 in Mifflin Co., Pa;
died 3-22-1961. I found two infants that they lost.
Catherine E. Mallory, died 9-26-1915 and Earl L. Mallory
born 10-15-1898; died 2-11-1979; George Mallory born
4-16-1872 in Bellefonte, Pa; died 7-9-1946. He lived
in Pontiac, MI; Herbert Cecil Mallory was born 9-12-1895 in
Altoona, Pa; died 10-17-1962 in Pontiac, MI.; Jennie Irwin
Mallory born in 1884; died 3-29-1940; Len (maybe Leonard)
Mallory; Florence Mallory born in 1880 in Bellefonte, Pa.;
died 5-20-1962 in Altoona, Pa. She married a William D.
Rhodes born 1879 in McVeytown; died 1-31-1930 in
Altoona, Pa. Their children were: Jean Rhodes born
1-21-1905 in Altoona, Pa; died 3-14-1980 in Johnstown,
Pa. she married Louis Karchnak born 9-17-1897; died
June 1953; Eleanor Rhodes born 11-15-1906 in Altoona,
Pa; died 7-31-1990 in Altoona, Pa. Never wed.; Donald
William Rhodes born 1910 in Altoona, Pa.; died 10-21-1961
in Auburn Hts., MI; he married Tilly ? and had one child,
Linda; Delmar F. Rhodes was born 2-19-1912 in Altoona,
Pa; died 6-11-1986 in Altoona, Pa. Served in US Army-]
WWII, never wed; F. Louise Rhodes born 3-9-1914; died
9-15-1977, never wed. She also served in the Army;
Richard Rhodes....lived in Pontiac, MI; Leonard Rhodes...
? ; Leland Rhodes ....? ; Mary Elizabeth Mallory born
1-26-1877 in Altoona, Pa.; died 2-21-1964 in Warren, Pa.
She married Harry M. Wells born 5-6-1883; died 12-21-1947
in Akeley, Pa. Both are burried in the Oakland Cem. in
Warren, Pa.; Willard VanVahlen Mallory born 7-2-1887
in Altoona, Pa; died 10-22-1950 in Contra Costa Co., CA.
He is burried in the Sunset Mausoleum in Berkeley, CA.
He first married Mary Wallace born in 1891; died 8-23-1923
in Altoona, Pa. She died at age 32 from T.B.; She is burried
in the Rosehill Cem. in Altoona, Pa. They had the following
children: John Calvin Mallory born in 1913; died bet. Feb.
13th and 17th, 1913 in Altoona, Pa. Burried in Rosehill
Cem. in Altoona, Pa., Robert Mallory born 1-17-1916;
Louise Mallory and Helen Mallory. I don't know who they
married. Louise may have lived in Phila. and Helen in Altoona.
Willards second wife was Bess D. ? Mallory. She was
born in Texas 1-6-1890; died in Richmond, Ca 9-6-1979.
She is burried in the Sunset Mausoleum Cem. in Berkeley,
CA. They had no children. Last but not least, my grandmother
Myrtle Daisy Mallory born 6-22-1890 in Altoona, Pa; died
in Warren, Pa 3-3-1980. She married Frank Earl Robinson
born in Huntingdon Co., Pa. 2-26-1882; died 3-6-1941 in
Akeley, Pa. He was the son of Robert Robinson and Katie
(Catherine) Hench from Lack Twp., Juniata Co., Pa. Both
are burried in the McWilliams Cem. in Lack Twp.. Frank
had previously been married to a Blanche Parsons born
7-18-1882 and died in childbirth with her third child on
4-15-1910. Born to Frank and Blanche were: Alva B.
Robinson, born 3-15-1903 in Huntindgon Co., Pa; died
9-24-1977. She married Deforest Moyer born 8-16-1907;
died June 1978. They had no children; Ethel Robinson
born 6-15-1907; died 4-4-1990. She married Cloyd Price
born 8-3-1909; died 11-24-1978. All four are burried in
State College, Pa.; Margaret Robinson died in childbirth
on 4-15-1910 with her mother. Born to Frank and Myrtle were:]
Frances Catherine Robinson born 5-16-1914 in Altoona, Pa;
died 12-5-1975 in Russell, Pa.; Frank Henry Robinson born
10-27-1916 in Altoona, Pa; died 2-7-2001 in Columbia,
S.C. He is burried in Greenlawn Cem. in Columbus, Ohio
with his third wife; Albert Ross Robinson born Jan. 17, 1919;
died 3-10-1920; Mary Elizabeth Robinson born 3-5-1921;
died 1-1980; Alfred Charles Robinson born 11-24-1923; died
1-20--1994;Ruth Alma Robinson born 4-24-1926; Verna
Maye Robinson born 2-5-1933. I hope this helps you and
