I, too, am looking for information about an elusive Maloney. My great-grandfather, Michael Maloney, was apparently born in 1872 -- but we're not positive. He emigrated to Chicago from Ireland when he was in his teens with his sister, Bridget (Maloney) Doyle. He married Hannah Doyle. They lived in Chicago and had 8 children: James, Margaret O'Connor, John, Joseph, Irene Bordell, Nora Farley, Mary Hickey, and my grandmother, Johanna (Maloney) Alm. Also, Michael Maloney became a U.S. citizen in the Circuit Court of Cook County on November 4th, 1893. He died on June 1, 1941, and is buried in Holy Sepulchre Cemetary in Worth, Illinois.
