Surnames: Malseed, Starrett or Sterrett

Seeking information of my gggrandfather, David Malseed born Oct. 1, 1840 in Ramelton, Ireland. Married Sarah Starrett/Sterret on Mar. 10, 1870. They had 11 children, only 7 living to adulthood. He died Mar. 1, 1897 in Pittsburgh, PA. Any information on his parents or siblings would be greatly appreciated.
