TAYLORVILLE - Raymond C. "Beans" Mammen, 62, of Taylorville died Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital in Taylorville.
He was born Nov. 17, 1942, in Taylorville, the son of Carl H. and Lena H. Cornello Mammen. He married Angeline Donini in 1972 in Hillsboro; she died in 2000.
Mr. Mammen was a U.S. Navy veteran and former owner of West Side Tavern in Taylorville. He was a member of VFW Post 4495 and Eagles Club.
Survivors: brother, Darriel Mammen of Taylorville; sister, Sharon Younker of Taylorville; and four nieces and nephews.
Graveside services: 11 a.m. Monday, Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville.
McClure Funeral Home in Taylorville is in charge of arrangements.
