I am looking for any info on John Manchester of Tiverton, RI who married a Betsey (maybe Lake last name)
John b. 9 Sep 1790, Tiverton d. 2 Sep 1873. Betsey b. 1792 and died 17 Apr 1864, Tiverton. They had a son Albert Jason, b. 30 Dec 1829 d. 30 Jul 1903, Cottage City, Oak Bluffs, Marthas Vineyard, Massachusetts. Record recorded in Providence, RI. Albert married 1st Emma Sisson and 2nd Margaret J Smith, b. 14 Jan 1851 Catskill, Greene, NY and d. 1 Mar 1923, Providence, RI. Albert is my great great grandfather. I thought John had come from the Maine Manchesters but the birth years don't add up. There are many Manchesters in Little Compton, RI but he was from Tiverton and maybe born in Portsmouth, RI. Thanks
