OBITUARY
March 20, 1975 "Amarillo Globe Times"
Amarillo, Texas
Paula M. Helton, 67, of Amarillo died Wednesday at High Plains Baptist Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Blackburn-Shaw Memorial Chapel with Rev. Julian Traweek officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery in Brownfield. Mrs. Helton was born in Brashear and had lived in Amarillo for the past 16 years. She married R. L. Helton in 1933 and he survives. Also surviving are one son, J. R. Helton of Amarillo; seven daughters, Louise Helton of the home, Mrs. J. C. Fritts, Mrs. T. J. Miller, Yvonne Barnes, and Mrs. Don Davis, all of Amarillo, Mrs. W. J. Oleson of Houston, and Mrs. R. J. Martin of Frankfort, Indiana; two sisters, Faye McWilliams of Kingsland and Loreta Holmes of Winnsboro; one brother, W. W. Mangum of Melissa; and twelve grandchildren.
