OBITUARY
September 24, 1951 "Lubbock Avalanche"
Lubbock, Texas
Mary Mangum, 80, a Brownfield resident since 1921, died today at Treadaway-Daniel Hospital after a 10 day illness. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with Rev. H. W. Hanks officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Survivors are her husband, W. R. Mangum, of the home; three sons, J. F. Mangum of Dallas, W. W. Mangum of Melissa, and J. T. Mangum of Sacramento, California; three daughters, Paula Helton of Tokia, Loreta Holmes of Winnsboro, and Faye McWilliams of Brownfield; and three sisters, Carrie Butler of Cumby, Georgia Snyder of Brashear, and Pearl Deakins of Dallas.
