I've been trying to sort out the various Mangus/Menges/Mangas families of Somerset, Blair and Cambria counties in Pennsylvania.

The person I'm looking for is Bessie Mangus, who appears in the 1910 census in Blair county living in the home of William McKnight as a domestic servant. She was 19 years old in 1910.

By 1920, she has married Orin Barnes, given birth to a son, Charles and living in Johnstown, Cambria Co. In 1930, she is still in Johnstown.

I cannot locate her in the 1900 Census. She would be abt. 9 years old and I suspect that she may have been orphaned at this time.

Thank you for any thoughts that you may have.
