YOUNGSTOWN – Mr. Jack T. Manigault Jr., 40, formerly of Youngstown, passed away Sunday morning, Oct. 9, 2011.
Jack was born June 4, 1971, a son of Theresa M. Manigault and the late Jack T. Manigault Sr. the second of four children.
He attended Youngstown City Schools and was awarded a distinctive artist award during his junior high school years.
Jack was affectionately called “Tommy” by his family and friends. Jack was a poet and an artist and loved to write poems for his loved ones.
He was employed by the Callos Company, as a welder apprentice at the time of his death.
Jack leaves to cherish his beloved memory, his mother, Theresa Manigault of Los Angeles; grandmothers Betty L. Walker and Gladys Manigault, both of Youngstown, Ohio; his children, Jayquawn, Robert, Jack T. III of Campbell, Ohio and Jackeem of Youngstown, Ohio; his older brother, Lester Walker (wife Midge Walker) of Youngstown; and his younger sisters, Gladys Manigault of Long Beach, California and Omarosa O. Manigault of Beverly Hills, Calif.
He married Tanjia Harris on Jan. 17, 1997 and bore four children, Jayquawn, Robert, Jack T. III and Edward, who is deceased.
He also leaves uncles Robert Walker and Carl Walker; his aunts, Jane Manigault, Evelyn Manigault Ford, Dione Manigault Eldridge, Olivia Walker, Brenda Walker, Loretta Walker and Carol Walker; his nieces, Leslie Walker and Sharell Patterson; his nephews, Lester Walker III, Jalen Anderson and Jawalyn Anderson; great-niece Kennadii Bills; great-nephews Kendre Bills Jr., Lester Walker III and Tony Walker, all of Youngstown; and many cousins, friends and associates.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack T. Manigault Jr.; his son, Edward Manigault; his grandfathers, Robert Manigault and Robert Walker; and his uncle and aunt Mary and Marvin Walker.
Funeral services will be conducted at Fellowship Tabernacle Christian Center, 2139 Market St. in Youngstown, Ohio on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at noon with Jack’s uncle the Very Reverend Pastor Kenneth Eldridge and Co-Pastor Dione Eldridge officiating.
