I found several mispellings on tombstones in my research. When they make an error, it is usualy a big one, and not reversable without paying a whole lot extra.

On the 1880 census search on family search use surname Maun. It was mispelled. On ancestry it will show on the 1880 census with either spelling. And use the given name Susan not Susen as you listed. She came from a large family. And her middle name is Mary.

George King Mann was bur. in Portsmouth UK 23 Dec. 1912,

My grandads name was was George King Mann bn, 1866 or so. 1901 census finds them living in Southwark London with wife Minnie nee Humpfreys- Goatley , with children Rosa Isabella (my Mother) son George Henry age 7yrs & bro. William Henry age 5yrs. I have Williams Papers when he joined the Canadian Forces WW1 , Gives his next of kin as Minnie Mann & then crossed out Mann & put Eyers , it seems the family split up & Minnie Mrd , this guy , I have the mrg date and his children from previous mrg, this not proven.

I am the son of Rosa Mann brother to William King (alias )Henry, also another bros. George Henry. Have been on a wild goose chase for years to a family I thought was ours , Now realise I was wasting time . Rosa Mann died in 1936 in London and was buried in Portsmouth Hants I was ( yrs old & have desperatly wanted to find my Ma's relations > Am I too late I am 83 yrs old & need some closure, please tell me you can help. I've got some information on Robert's lineage via his son Joseph. I too, am stuck at finding Roberts parents and up the chain in that direction.

Some of the info I have:

Joseph Oliver Mann is my gggrandfather. I even have some pictures from a Tippah County (MS) history book.

I don't have a John E as a child of Robert, but I do recall some information about the family moving out to Texas for a while. I'll go double check what that old Tippah county book has.

Sarah, Gertrude Clingan McCarty died on March 7, 1941 and is buried in the Redfield Cemetary in Jefferson Co Ark. It lists her birthday also as June 16, 1917. There are a lot of Clingan's buried there. I printed out the whole list of all buried there and will send it to your Mother. Please be there ,after nine years . My Mothers name was Rosa Isabella Mann , Father George King later Henry Mann,my mother had 3 sibs. Emily died at I believe three years old, sons 2 william Henry M. in Beebe & George Henry bn 1893 My Mother bn 1893 10or 11 mnths later . Would dearly like to know about you & your family . No reatives ever on my mothers side known to me.

George Mann was my Uncle his sister Rosa Mann was my Mother ,
If Any One, can put me in touch with Kim Mercedes Sarvas I would be more than grateful she would be my only living relative of my Mother. I have searched for someone for years ,travelled , met had genealogists search all to no avail. Rosa Mann died in 1936 in England her father George King Mann died in Portsmouth Hampshire in 1914.

Asbury "Berry" Mann born 1852 GA. (maybe) married to Susan N. Deer.

I am looking for a Margarette M Mann, said to have been born in Indiana. She is my grandmother, my mother's Birth certificate says Margarette was born in Rockmart GA. Census report says Thomas Elijah Dooley's wife Margaret Mann is from Indiana. Margarette is buried in Alabama, which I know is fact.

Wonder if you have leads or information on this lady?
