Thank you for the information. My relative John Minogue was from Castletownarra, Tipperary NR, his son John J. was baptized in Portroe in Tipperary NR in 1854. There may be a connection prior to the 1850's but I have not found it yet. The Minogues seem to be sprinkled from Scarriff, Co Clare to Nenagh, Co Tipperary.
