I have a letter signed by Verona MARCELLUS. It is dated Dec 1st, 1871 and was post marked from Koszta, Iowa. The letter was written to Ada. The envelope is address to Nettie A. NELSON in care of Annie NELSON in Erie City, Erie County, Penna. The section "If not called for in ten days return to" has the name Tracy E. CAGWIN in it. A letter from him is also in the envelope but it is dated Sept 14, 1874. I can't read the date on the postmark of the envelope but it definetly is Koszta. Tracy's letter is sent to "Dear Aunt". He mentions 'sister' in the letter. Verona mentions John and the girls. John's sister lived in Tama. Another sentence says "Dide and Mertie have gone up to Hannah's." I know Hannah Osgood RICHARDSON married John MARCELLUS. Where does Verona fit in? And who is Tracy CAGWIN calling Aunt? Any connections out there? Thanks!
