We are looking for any information that may be had for a Margerum female, that gave birth out of wedlock in or around Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania in 1885. We believe she was my grandfathers mother who adopted him out to the George Girton family that owned and operated a drinking establishment in Bloomsburg. We know this is a long shot but we are trying to put together this half of the faily tree and this has been a major stumbling block. We have no first name for this woman. If there is any information out there it would greatly help. I am attaching a picture that will show George in his 70's, maybe he will look like someone in your family Any help will be greatly appreciated.
