Not much is known of May Margaret Maron's past. She is the grandmother of my husband. May Margaret died in 1934 of T.B. from which she suffered for several years is buried here in IA. I managed to find in a 1925 local county census that May Margaret's father's name was "Tom" and her mother's name was Julia Walsch; she was born in Scranton PA in 1892. Then the rest is hit miss. She was apparently raised by an aunt uncle by name of Mr Mrs Dempsey in Omaha NE. First names unknown. In one of her obits, it says that her mother died when she was 5 yrs old. I have no idea where that info came from. I am trying to find any of her ancestors. Does she have siblings?? One of her parents apparently did. But have not been able to find anything there either.
