I am the daughter of the late Patrick Marry from Almondstown Clogherhead,Co. Louth.The name is in this area from the 1700's.Originally the name came from Burgundy in France where it still exists as place names eg Bois De Marry.There may be a connection with the battle of the Boyne(1690) when mercenaries from Burgundy fought at what was a European battle on Irish soil.

What I have on Mary Marry could fill a thimble, but here goes. John Marry wed Mary Dolan. They had one child that I know of:Anna Marry(B.15-July-1861)wed John Reynolds.
After John died, she wed Patrick McCrory, Feb 17,1896.
He died 27-July-1921. Anna McCrory passed away 31-Aug-1945. I do believe the Marry's came from Scotland.
Could this be the wrong Marry family?

I am looking for any information on Mary Marry who married Lawrence Byrnes.
They had at least one child, Mary Jane Byrnes who was born in 1862 in Ireland, possibly County Louth.

She was my great-grandmother.
