Hi, I am searching for any information I can find on James Henry Mars and Aubey Cox Jones. I have also seen Aubey's name (nickname?) as Ankie Jones. They are supposedly from the Carolinas according to some information that was written by my great aunt. They had a son and a daughter that I know of:

{SON} James Henry Mars who was born on Dec. 4, 1828 in Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County , Alabama. He died Nov. 27, 1904, in Cushtusa, MS. and was buried in Mars Hill Cemetary in Neshoba County, MS. He married Martha Jane Deweese on July 3, 1857. He had 11 children who were all born in Cushtusa (to my knowledge): Missouri Mars, Mary Catharine Mars, Matilda Mars, Narcissus Malisa Mars, George Washington Mars {my great grandfather}, William Henry Harrison Mars, Dora Elizabeth Mars, Andrew Jackson Mars, Viola A. Mars, and Ida Sue Mars.

George Washington Mars was born Oct 19, 1864 in Cushtusa, MS. He married Laura Elizabeth Hoye on Dec. 24, 1891. They had the following children: Lucille Mars, George Washington Mars, Jr., Rodney W. Mars, James Henry Mars {my grandfather}, Norman C. Mars, and Louis F. Mars.

{DAUGHTER} Mary Ann Elizabeth Mars who was born March 10, 1833 in AL. She was married to Fenton Bell Deweese, Sr.

I have conflicting information from two different relatives. One says that Aubey's husband is Robert; the other says it is James Henry.

Any information you can add or clear up about my ancestors would be greatly appreciated.
