      <description>Adrian Daily Telegram, Thursday, November 29, 2007, pg A2&lt;br&gt;Diana Lynn Marta	&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;BROOKLYN — Diana Lynn Marta, age 55, of Brooklyn passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at her home under the loving care of her family.&lt;br&gt;She was born Jan. 10, 1952, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of John and Betty (Sharp) Glover. She married Wayne Marta on Nov. 16, 1979, in Redford Township, Mich., and he survives. Besides her loving husband and her mother, Diana is also survived by two daughters, Tammy Iida and Charlotte Sanchez; two sons, Adam Marta and Matthew Marta; siblings, Larry Glover, Linda Tillotson, Verna Syjud, Beatrice Huff, Lake Johnson, Doug Johnson; six grandchildren and a close friend of many years, Mona Devore. Diana was preceded in death by her father.&lt;br&gt;Diana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who also gave of herself as a volunteer to many organizations, including the Jackson County Meal Service, The Salvation Army, The Interfaith Shelter and many others.&lt;br&gt;A Celebration of her life will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, at St. Joseph Shrine Catholic Church, with Pastor Dan Schultz officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or to a charity of the donor’s choice.&lt;br&gt;Arrangements are entrusted to Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Braun Chapel in Brooklyn.       <description>I am new at this, hope I am doing it right. My grandfather,John and grandmother came here in the early 1900's from Italy, My grandfather had two brothers that I know of, Martin died in WW1 and Giacomo Antonio, died in Cimitrale Di Torino in 1850. He was a professor in the Military Academy in the Turin Ateneo and knighted by King Charles Albert on his retirement. Are we the same family?</description>

      <description>My grandfather was a Marta. Costa B. Marta. His mother was from Austria. Her name was Mary Sammy. She was Romanian and came to Texas on a passenger ship. I do not know what my grandfathers dads name was, but met Mary when they got off the ship in Houston, Texas. Any information would be helpful.</description>
