Julie - I sent you an email.

I do keep coming across Vincenzo in my searches. The dates of birth are right as far as possibly being siblings. Antonio was born circa 1857 in Valledolmo. What year did he immigrate to the States? What port of entry?

FWIW: One tip regarding names in Valledolmo families that my Great Aunt passed onto me years ago....has held up regarding my family.

The oldest son is most often named after the grandfather on the father's side. The second son is most often named in honor of the father in law. If that holds up, then Antonio's father would have been named Antonio/Anthony. Also, the 1910 census lists my Great Grandmother's maiden name as being Milure (sp?) from Valledolmo as well.

Would love to identify the siblings of the folks we are talking about.

I'm Tony Martina and I'm just begging to search my Martina family records. My Great Grandfather was Antonio Martina from Valledolmo, Sicily. Came to the States in 1887 and his wife Francis (b. circa 1862) and her father in law Louis Miglore (Migliiore? b. circa 1825) came in 1890. After living in New York they moved to Indiana and then Ohio after the turn of the century.

Who are the five children and where in Italy did she come from? My Martina's are from Valledolmo, Sicily. I'm thinking your Gustine could be a Cousin or sister of one of my grandparents.
