Hartmann Marty left Othmarsingen Switzerland Dec 20, l854 and settled in Winnebago or Waukesha Wisconsin. He was married to Elefe Geyser, who died Jan 24,1870. They had 4 children, Elise and Emil, born in Othmarsingen and Anna and Mary Jane born in Waukesha. He then married Maria L. Drew and they had 4 children,all born in Omro Wisconsin. They were Fanny Louisa, 6/21/71, William 7/24/73,Abbie ll/18/75 and Frank, 6/29/80. Frank was my grandfather. He married Crystal Bartlett in Omro. They had 3 Children, Don-my father, Marian and Elizabeth. I have been to Othmarsingen many times and have established several close Swiss friends. The church yard cemetery
is full of Marti's, and Hartmann's father,Jacob died in Othmarsingen, but we haven't found his grave, though over time the Swiss reuse the plots so that could explain that. We have never been able to trace any living relatives amongst the Martys(i) in Othmarsingen. My queries are two fold: Does anyone have any information on the other lines from Hartmann other than my father and anything relating to relatives of Jacob and Hartmann living in Switzerland?
