JOHN MARVEL OF VIRGINIA 1652-1707

I am interested in any information on John MARVEL of Virginia. I am descended from his daughter Elizabeth MARVELL b abt 1662 in Virginia, who married Thomas MARSTON. I have found 2 different family trees on Ancestry.com One has Elizabeth's mother as Anne WEST and his parents as Thomas MARVELL and Mary WRIGHT. The other has his wife as Anne CARTER, and his parents as William MARVEL and Elizabeth CROCKER.
Does anyone have any info on who John Marvell married. I am unable to go further back until I can clear up who is actually my direct line Anne WEST or Ann CARTER, William or Thomas MARVELL, Elizabeth CROCKER or Mary WRIGHT.
quite confusing.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd like to connect with people whose current research interests include William Marvell who is said to have been born in Massachusetts sometime around 1776. He married Sarah Hutchinson who may have been born sometime around 1780. They were based in the Milford, New Hampshire area.
