I have been for a long time trying to find the lineage of my father's family from Zamboanga City, Philippines. He was born ANTONIO SAAVEDRA MAS - his father was Marciano Aguilar MAS and his mother's maiden name was ALICIA SAAVEDRA. I know that the MAS surname is very rare in the Philippines - only know that my grandfather, Marciano had only one sister, EMILIA. I don't know my greatgrandfather's origin - in as much as they died when my father was still very young, hence - our search for this family tree. His ancestry must have come from Spain.... hope we can get connected with someone, somewhere so we can trace our ROOTS. Thank you so much.
