Is there anyone else searching for a Thomas Masson/Mason who lived in Aberdeen?

I am searching for more information about a Thomas Masson. My 2nd Great-Grandfather was William Skene and he was born in 1841 in Woodside, Old Machar, Aberdeen, Scotland. His mother was Jane Leslie who married an Andrew Skene and they had 3 children together. Andrew died in 1837/38. Jane then met Thomas Masson, who worked at the Grandholm Mills as a cloth weaver, and along came William. Jane and Thomas never married and William assumed the Skene name. By 1863, Thomas Masson was deceased based on the marriage record for William Skene.

Now so far, the only Thomas Masson/Mason I have been able to find is that of one born in Ireland about 1807, married Anna Cruickshank on 28 August 1824 in Old Machar, Aberdeen and died 27 August 1858 in Aberdeen. His wife Anna and he had 3 children: Christina (b. 1826), Thomas (b. 1828), and Jane (b. 1831). Now Anna, his wife, died in July 1851.

Now this Thomas' parents were James Masson/Mason and Mary Ann Kelly. They were married about 1802 in Ireland.
