I have a Deed showing George Masterson of Morgan County, Ohio, purchasing Lot Number 118 cemetery plat (recorded in Plat Book page 455, part of NE 1/4 of Section 24, Twp 13, Range 14, Perry County, dated 13 January 1905. Purchased from M. R. Hearing. Is there a way to determine who is buried in this plat, etc?
IGI shows Hattie P (not O) Nelson's father Perly Nelson and mother Nancy Appleman; spouse George Masterson. Hattie died in 1900 and son, Roy, went to live with his "grandparents", enumerated in 1910 census in Morgan County OH, as McCabe. It is believed that Lucinda Appleman is the mother of Savilla Bankes-husband Thomas Masterson and son George W. Masterson. Sep 20 and Sep 29, 1869 shown as birthdates for George. FindaGrave shows burial of Hattie Masterson born 1870, died 1900, at Zion Cemetery in Portersville, Perry, Ohio USA. Also interred are George 1899-1903 and Oscar 1895-1916.
If Hattie's parents were McCabes, Appleman/Nelson does not appear as a viable solution to ascendency. My cousin and I keep searching. Please post comments/remarks.
