We are Darren and Sheila Mather currently in North Wales. Nearly our entire family of Mather's is from Bolton, Lancashire area and still have some relatives there. We so far go back to James Mather (1822) who married Susan Whaley?. They had 8 kids (1844-1861): Hannah, Ellen, James, Giles, Alice, Rachel, Richard & Nathaniel.

Does anyone have any information on these especially the 2 James Mather's as they are our ancestors.
