Her father was James CARTER b ? 1868 Manchester UK and married Emily florence Martha Newby b 1874 Dumaresq Island NSW Australia - her father was Thomas Newby m 1868 to Elizabeth MATHERS b 1849 d 1895. No further line on CARTER or Newby, however Elizabeth's parents were Charles MATHERS and Fanny (could also be known as Frances or Mary) surname unknown.
