I am looking for any family members from the John Mathews who lived on Sacandaga Road in Scotia, New York around 1840 until the family moved from this house about 1970's. They ran a farm and blacksmith here.His first wife was Charlotte Spencer. She died in childbirth. He re married and had about 6 more children at the same address.
