I'm trying to help a friend find his family history (he does not have a computer). He states his mother was Maria (Matta) Ballesteros (1914-1972). They resided in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska. Maria was a Native American/Apache. I've spent hours looking for the Matta family but all I find are Mattas of every nationality except American Indian. Anyone out there able to lend me a hand? I would sure appreciate the assistance! Thank you.
