Trying to find any information on John B. Matz. Born about 1837 in I believe Schuylkill Co. Pa. and died in Chicago, Illinois 1903. First married to Elizabeth Greenawald, ~1841 - 1872 (I have seen Elizabeth's last name spelled in many variations)and John married a second time to a Mary 1838 - ? (maiden name unk.).

John with Elizabeth was the father of:Phalla, Suzanne, John,Franklin, Sara and William -- and with Mary: Mary and Sally.
John's second wife was married before as well. The 1880 census has two step children in the household - Violette and Hulda Haldeman.
