wow.. sorry so long in responding...

i do not know of rebecca green maulden's burial. i really don't know about the sellers connection. i know that andrew f maulden and mary jane driggors are buried at elem baptist church cemetery in long co ga. i just found in the last 2 mos that mary jane's parents were ann crawford and mathew dreggors. i knew 10 yrs ago that she had a death certificate, but when i went to courthouse, they didn't have it and when i sent off for it they couldn't find it. then i was just goofing off on a site and low and behold there it was!! i was in tears, 20 years of looking and there it is! now i hope it won't be another 20 yrs. i can't seem to place her in their household because of the practice of sending your kids to your siblings house for the summer. in the 1850 census, mary jane was at an aunt's house, and cousins were at her house.

Thanks for checking for me! Mary died and he remarried Elizabeth Hatfield...(Hatfield was her married name, this was her second marriage also. )

I have been trying to figure out if Shadrack/Shedric was a nickname for something else, but can't come up with that either.

Debby, The only info that I have is that Shaderic (Molden) Maulden marrieed Mary Ann Brooks 12 Nov 1835 in Greene Co.,
IN. I suspect that the name Shaderic is most likely the
middle name of the individual. Had checked census records
on both sides for either Him or Mary with no hits.

They had a Grand-son named Charles F. Lytle who married
LETITIA EDWARDS. And, Charles F. Lytle and Letitia Edwards had a son named WAYNE WENDELL LYTLE born 1948 in Texas. . .

Wayne Wendell Lytle married Brenda J. Ray in 1971 in Harris County, Texas...

Actually I do have some info that could interest you. My name is Delisa Lilley and I have traced Maulden family back to this time....I haven't figured out the William listed in that immigration, but I do know that Katherine was married to a Francis Maulden born approx 1600 in Wales. Katherine was his first wife whom he immigrated here in 1635-1636. They had a daughter named Margaret in 1637. Katherine also died in 1637 of "unknown causes," possibly in childbirth. Francis lived until approx 1644. I have my family traced to Francis and this is as far back as I have been able to trace all through direct lineages to me (born Sept 15, 1980, Brownwood, TX). If you are interested in any of this just let me know. I am trying valiantly to trace beyond this point to the Welsh history of the Mauldens.

Sarah Elizabeth Maulding m. George A. Ivie - Atlanta, GA area

I am looking for information on Sarah Elizabeth Maulding (b. 1834)- whom I believe to be the daughter of ?? Maulding and Susannah Humphries, with siblings William H. (b. 1828), John W. (b. 1829), James W. (b. 12/7/1830 and served K, E 41st GA Infantry in the Civil War) and Mary Susan (b. 1835).

As stated she married George A. Ivie of Lawrenceville, Gwinnett, GA. They stayed in GA for a number of years and about 1868 moved up to Indiana - most of the family ended up in Shelbyville, Shelby, Indiana (George A. had died by then) but they may have been in the Columbus, Bartholomew, Indiana area before that.

If anyone can verify this, or provide documentation, or additional information, it would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for infromatin on Millberry Maulden she was married to John Lauderdale. She was born abt. 1760 in Georgia. Her father's name was John, I think.
Millberry and John Lauderdale had four children: Sarah abt. 1800; James abt. 1795; John Gammel abt. 1798 & Josiah Maulden abt. 1802. I hope all these dates are correct.
These would be my GGGG-Grandparents.

We are just starting our research into this family. My daughter and I are doing this for a family project and 4H! Walker Maulden (given name Henderson W. Maulden) was my Great-Grandfather! He passed when I was about a year old according to my records and mom confirms it. Walker Maulden married Nora Ella Wilhoite in 1921 (can't find my notes for exact info).. They had 4 children. Gertrude, Mildred, Walker, Jr. (my Pap) and Dorothy. The latter of the kids is the only one living. They resided in Southern Indiana. I have some other info if you would like it.. Please email me.

Have any of you found where Rebecca Jane Green (e) Maulden is buried and/or her death date? I have never been able to locate either. I would like to find her burial place. She was born abt.1828 and apparently died @ my ggrandmother's (Laura EvaLena Maulden Thigpen) birth on Jan. 23, 1855 or soon after. Andrew Fraser Maulden & Rebecca had 4 children as far as I can determine. Val, what is your documentaion for Andrew's marriage to a Jane Sellers? I can find record for this marriage. He married Mary Jane Oct. 15, 1856 according to my records Was it before his marriage to Mary Jane Driggers? <<Who were her parents?

Was wondering if you found anything on Walker Maulden? I think he may be linked to my Maulden family. His father would have been James H. Maulden, son of Sidney Maulden and Sarah Jane Sweet. I think his name would have been Henderson Walker Maulden, maybe. Haven't been able to find him on the 1930 census in KY. My Gr-Grandfather Robert Sidney Maulden was a brother to James Maulden. I'm not sure about our connection, but I am sure there is one since my family is from Ludowici. I have just discovered the Maulden-Gordon line in Ludowici. I was there in September and met with Valeria Walling and got some info about my grandparents..I have never been to a reunion, but hope to be at the next one.. My g,grandparents are Julia Ester Gordon, and William Washington Maulden..That's where the Maulden-Gordon line merge for me..My grandparents, James Artemus and Maybell Rowe Maulden moved to Orlando, Fla. when my father, Freddie H. Maulden was a young man. I have several generations back,so maybe we can establish a connection.. Where do you live now??.. My Father, Freddie Hastings Maulden, was born in Ludowici, Ga.,and raised in Orlando, Fla. He was the son of James Artamus Maulden and Maybelle Rowe Maulden. We moved to Mobile Al. in 1942 from Orlando, Fla. Hope this helps.

I am trying to do a family ancestry search. I am new to this and blocked. I know my family come from mississippi and Alabama for the most part. Though there are now some in Florida. I have also been told that the spelling was originally Mauldin, later changed to Maulden after a family squabble. I would be on the Maulden side i suppose. But, this makes it even harder for me to do the searches. Farthest I can go is Luther Lee Maulden( 18??-1928) who married Dolly Dove Kelly. Its a slim shot I know that someone related recognizes this. But I can hope...

remer byron maulden is in this line somewhere.

remer byron maulden was born 1894, he married nellie rentz, i am not sure when he died but i believe he is buried in long co ga,
he father was william washington maulden and his mother was julia e. gordon.

i know that there was a son r.b. maulden jr who was in nc somewhere. i don't know much about this line. but i will share what i have on the upline.

I am one of Earnest Maulden's grand children. Jay Douglas Maulden was one of his children. Jay was my father he passed away when I was 15 yrs old. I even stayed with dean for a while after I graduated from high school. ( About 6 months)

If your Susan is part of Samuel S. Lockers family she might be a sister to John Plowman and James Monroe, his 2 sons that were in Iredell, Bosque Co. John had a dau. 1871 named Susan b. in Tx. You may know all this if you have Harlan Jones Family History on the Chesters. If not, let me know and I'll give you some more on the Lockers that is in it. I'm part of the Davis family that is connected to both Chesters and Lockers.

Do any of the Mauldin/Maulden family researchers have a Shadrack/Shadrick/Shedric or something close in your trees? He would have been born around 1813 in KY or possible Ohio and moved to Indiana about 1835 to marry a Mary Ann Brooks in 1838. (Later to marry Elizabeth Quillen,m Hatfield) In 1838 the spelling was Moulden.

I'm grasping I know.... but it's worth a try!

I am looking for ANY info on my granmother. Her name was Sallie Maulden b. 1880. She was married to Jamison[James, I think.] And then She married James Pate Hale in Howard Co. Ar. in1903or1904. She died in the early 1960's and is buried at Mt.Pleasant Cemetary in Howard Co.Ar.

I have a Margaret Maulden b. @ 1627 in Middlesex, England daughter of Francis and Grace Maulden married 1. John Burrage but he was killed 2. Samuel Lane b. 1628 they married 1669 and came to America (Ann Arundel Maryland to be exact). I hope we can put our heads together on this and figure out this very old Maulden family. Kathy
