Christian Mautz was my great, great, great grandfather. He left Germany at the age of 17 in 1850 with his family - father, mother, 9 brothers and 2 sisters. They landed in New York in June 1850. They settled in Pana, IL near Shelbyville & Tower Hill where Christian's older brother already resided. He married Wilhelmena Roessler January 26,1860. They lived on a farm near Shelbyville, where they had 10 children, until 1879. They then moved to Prescott, Arkansas and had 2 more children. Christian died in 1900, Wilhelmena died in 1907. Their children were - Rosina, Annie, Emma, Minnie, Emanuel, Charles, Bertha, Ella, George, Louisa, Matilda and Edna. I also know the grandchildrens names.
