Johanna Elizabeth Aichele Mautz (1843-1928) Obituary

Mrs. Johanna Elizabeth Mautz died at her home, 417 West Thirteenth Street, Monday morning at 9:30 o’clock. Mrs. Mautz had been a resident of Winfield since 1882 and was highly esteemed.
She was born in Germany on June 24, 1843 and at death was 84 years, 11 months and 17 days old.
She is survived by her sons, Otto T. Mautz of Hortford, Kansas, Gus W. and George Mautz of Tulsa, and one daughter Mrs. George Galster of Pana, IL, one granddaughter, Mrs. F.W. Robieson and one niece, Miss Verena Klauser, both of Winfield, survive.
Mrs. Mautz was a member of the Lutheran Church. The funeral will be held at Morris Funeral Home Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock, conducted by Rev. F. Worthmann, pastor of the Baden Memorial Lutheran Church.
Internment will be in Union Cemetery.
