I have been trying to find more information on a Maves family who lived in Vincennes, IN. Father, Henry Maves, was born in Germany in 1832, and came to the US about 1854. He was married to Mary J. Evans in Richland Co, IL, had eight children, ran a small hotel in Lawrence Co, IL, then moved to Vincennes by 1880. Henry died in 1914, and we are hoping to find out who his parents were. I am not sure if he is connected to the Maves family who came in through Ontarion or not. If anyone has any info, I'd appreciate it! Thanks.
