Not much happening on Ancestry, so checking the message boards and afraid I very seldom do that
BUT cousin Cindy, I just talked to your aunt Mary Louise on Monday when I was in Barrie. Small world.
I too would like more info on that generation of the Maws and going back. My tree is Maw tree and my grandfather was Thomas Wilfred Maw in Thornton.
I have some of your missing dates, but not sure if you just didn't list them all, so check my tree. I also have some of your ? marks filled in - Alice Elizabeth's marriage and children; Irene Mary's death and marriage and child + their marriage; Helen Elizabeth's marriage to Young and children; Frederick's marriage.
I also have all of John 1846's siblings and father and mother.I have no idea where I got the info.
My dad Ivan Maw was an only child and died when I was really young, so really hard to find info. Your aunt is a walking encyclopedia of the family and not sure what she has at her house. Sure you have talked to her about it, but odd that she hasn't mentioned it to me. We are the same age and I used to go to their house after school at Barrie Central in the old days and it almost seemed like a second home to me.
My e-mail is sstanley@vianet.ca, so feel free to contact me . Cousin Frances Ann (Maw) Stanley
