I trace my family back this way--my great-grandmother was Anna Maxwell Henroid (1868-1950), her father Robert W. Maxwell (1843-1921), his father John Harmon Maxwell (1815-1890), his father Robert Maxwell (1786-1861) his father James Maxwell (1745-1821), his father John Maxwell (1719-1786). GG Grandfather Robert W. lived in Henry County, Missouri, moving to Wilson County, Kansas later in life (he died in Altoona, same county. I have a list of Robert W.'s children and some of the grandchildren. I am currently researching more about this generation. I have a picture of the surviving children of Robert W. at a Maxwell reunion in Fredonia, Kansas, in 1942. I have a picture of Robert's daughters as young adults, plus several of my g grandmother Anna Maxwell Henroid. If you wish more info about this branch of the Maxwells please let me know. I have seen a listing on the internet (have hard copy) where someone trace on back from Thomas into the 1300s, but I could not duplicate this connection in any of my research. Looking forward to hearing from you.
