I am a descendent of Sidney Maxwell (born in VA., 1770, died in Ashe Co., N.C, 1855, married Catherine Elsberry), who my family 'believes' was the son of Thomas (brother to William), however, we have not had hard evidence to support this theory. I've noted several messages that seem to indicate Sidney was in fact a son of Thomas......can someone confirm this?
