Seeking information on JOHN HENRY MAY and his wife, MARY CHANDLER, who are believed to have lived in the late 1800s and early 1900s in New York City, possibibly Long Island area, and Newark, New Jersey. They had one known son named LEONARD MAY, believed to have been born in 1902 possibly earlier and who attended Mason Grade School and Newark Higih School. It is also believed that both JOHN HENRY & MARY were killed in some kind of accident.
LEONARD MAY worked possibly in the capacity of a CPA or auditor for Crucible Steel, Kellogg, and others. He lived in Joliet,Illinois; Palmyra, Missouri; and Chicago, Illinois. He died of altzheimers in 1959 at Manteno, Kankakee, Illinois. He had four children: BRADFORD, CHANDLER, PATRICIA, and SHIRLEY MAY. He married VELMA MAY BEHRING in 1929 possibly at Minneapolis.
