In the book, "Windham in the Past", it states that Mary was the fifth child of William and Martha Mayberry. However, this is confusing since it also states that William married Dec. 1783, Rebecca, daughter of John and Rebecca (Chute) Bodge of Windham. William was the son of Capt. Richard and Martha (Bolton) Mayberry. Also, Mary did marry Richard Cook.
