John came to America in 1818 from Germany. He left JACAB age 10 and George age 8 with a Silversmith and a Mercant. He took william or Wilhem the youngest with him to Ohio and ran a ferry there. No wife is mentioned but a daughter Roxana was with him. I have a picture of Jacob and his wife Mary Ann Frazier. I also have a letter about the Civil War from Mary Ann to her brother in MO. Jacob and Mary Ann lived in Williamson Co., IL.
