Hi Verna - I'm not sure how this would be possible but who knows, and anybody I can ask is long gone.

I had an uncle named Robert Mayors who was born in Glasgow either 1919 or 1920. He came over to America and enlisted in the Royal Canadian Regiment before the US got involved with WWII (I want to say this happened around 1939-1940). Before he did this, he was a stage actor and did a lot of touring shows throughout the US. He was wounded overseas and eventually brought back to Canada, where he died from his injuries, again I want to say it was 1943 or so. He never married and he was only 24 when he died.

His father was Henry Mayors from Glasgow and mother was Helen Orrock I believe from Edinburgh. This was my father's side of the family and unfortunately they are all long since passed (my dad just recently 3 years ago). What are your thoughts?

I am searching for Robert Mayors who had 2 children, 1 born in St Marys Ontario. His wife was Eveline Dickey from St Marys Ontario. We know that there was a Robert Mayors was Born in Dundee Angus Scotland On 16 Sept 1860 but Know not of any connection.Any info would be greatly Apprecated.................Verna

His birthdate is June 13, 1950, I hear he was in army service for usa in Germany during 1960 to 1962, He was from near beaumont, texas, I would like to find him for my half sister who look for her birth dad
