Looking for the parents of Patrick Henry McAlister, b. abt 1794 VA who married Frances Ann Stonesiffer, b. 30 Jan 1807 VA. They married on 1 Jul 1829 in Madison Co, VA. They moved west to Gibson Co., TN in early 1830's and lived out their lives there. I believe they were accompanied out west by Alexander Patton, b. 1804 VA, and his wife Achsah Ann C. Oakley. b. 1810 VA, who were married in Madison Co., VA on 6 May 1830. A daughter of the McAlisters, Susan Moriah McAlister, b. 1841, married George Washington Patton, b. 1835, who was a son of Alexander and Ann Patton. Any info on any of these people would be greatly appreciated.
