Classification: Query
Surnames: McAdams, Murray, Burton
There are variations of this tree online, and I'm hoping that someone could lead me to sources for the following information.
Generation No. 1
1. James1 McAdams was born 1730 in NC.. He married Rebecca. She was born Abt. 1732 in Orange Co. NC..
Child of James McAdams and Rebecca is:
+ 2 i. James Joseph2 McAdams, born 1755 in VA.; died 22 Sep 1840 in St Clair, Alabama.
Generation No. 2
2. James Joseph2 McAdams (James1) was born 1755 in VA., and died 22 Sep 1840 in St Clair, Alabama. He married Jamima Murray 1771. She was born 20 May 1750, and died 19 Aug 1841 in Bargow Co. GA. (Bur. Old Cass Cem..).
Is there a source for the birth and death dates of Sarah Burton who married Hilliard McAdams?
Is there a source for the death date of 1852 for Samuel McAdams who died in Bowie County, Texas? (I know he was there in 1850. I have all the census records for the family.)
I've researched the line down from Hilliard but I'm having a terrible time trying to locate proof for the 3 generations before him. I'd love to be pointed in the right direction.
Keeping my fingers crossed, Kelly
