Seeking any info & descendants of James Davis McAndrew Sr. He married Martha Jane Baker Aug 8, 1866, Sevier, Tennessee. Their children are Mary E, William Senter, John Mcminn, Margaret Melzena, Alice, Hannah Eliza, Martha Josephine, James Davis Jr., George Chester, & Emmon Lionel.

James & Martha's son James Davis Jr. only had 5 of 10 children live to adulthood. Would especially like to connect with any of their living descendants. James Davis Jr. married Etta Elizabeth Williams Nov 29, 1907 Burnet, Texas. Their children who died early are: Simeul, Lionel Desmond, James Lyndell, George Lavaughlin, Alton Lauginn. Their children who lived to marry are: Alma Cleo married Johnny Edwin Williams; Lelden M. married Mildred L Young; Martha Erlene married Willie Hansford Williams; Norene Addie married Wilburn Arvil Jackson; James Leland married Ruth Clarice Kimsey.

Most of these families stayed close to the Burnet/Lampasas area of Texas. Many are buried at the Mahomet Cemetery in Burnet county.

James Davis Sr.'s parents were John Wesley McAndrew and Hannah Davis.
