David McArdle and Wife Sarah born in Ireland in 1780's.
Children George b. 1818, Joseph b.1821, David b. 1825, James b. 1826. These children were in Southeasthope twp, Perth Co of Ontario. James McArdle had a son, Richard McAArdle, that owned the Crown Hotel in Stratford and two other sons that moved to the west near Banff, Alberta and then settled in the Kootney country of BC. They came west before the Rail and were known as pioneers in the area of BC. These two were Thomas McArdle and William McArdle. They settled near a hot springs in the area. James had a Daughter who married David Newell who worked for the Canada Company. Would like to know more info on James family. I have info on David's family. He married Jane Newell, sister of David Newell, and had 11 children. Have no info on Georges family or Joseph family would appreciate any help.
