Surnames: McArdle, Mackin, Scannel - Templeton
Can anyone help fill in some gaps in my research
My father Denis McArdle b.1917 Dundalk Co.Louth Eire.His father Richard (or Philip) McArdle (b.1880/90 d.abt 1947)came from the family home in Crossmaglen Armagh to work on the railway.Susequently marrying Margaret.
Mackin and settling in Dundalk they had 4 children my father being the eldest.
Richard's(or Philip's)parents were Denis and Jane nee Scannel-Templeton and they had 3 other children Michael, Lily and Denis.I would be grateful for the smallest "nugget"
of information.
