Searching for one Charles McAuley who married one Mary Ann Brogan (Mary b. Abt. 1847 in Tyrone and d. 1905 Glasgow). They were married 12-28-1875 Melmount, Tyrone, Ireland.
At some point they moved to Scotland. They had at least three children in Scotland before Charles vanished. Annie (b. 1876) and twins Charles and Elizabeth (b. 1881). Charles reappeared after 1902 and met his grandson, but promptly disappeared again. I know that Mary Ann Brogans parents were Dennis Brogan and Isabella McCafferty, but know nothing further about them or Charles McAuley. Several rumors went around the family that he had bounced between Ireland and Scotland and another had him entering the states and going to work on the railroad. I have had no luck finding anything on him for the last twenty years.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
